Hi! I would like to know the original meaning, etymology, concept, for the word Shin (faith) in Japanese. Thanks! |

Welcome to our Japanese forums, William. "Shin" is a word of Chinese origin (true Japanese words never end by a consonant, by the way), I recommend to ask this question to the Chinese people if you find any around you. Best regards, |
